Intensive Programming
Reboot your recovery with our intensive programming
Perhaps you’ve maintained your sobriety, but you feel like you need some additional support. Maybe you’re worried about a relapse, or recent escalation in symptoms. Our brief, intensive programming might be the perfect way to reignite your commitment to self-care.
While not a replacement for residential treatment, our intensive program is ideal for someone who has been in therapy and/or recovery, but is feeling a little stuck. Over the course of three to five days, you’ll address mental health concerns such as trauma, anxiety, and depression through:
• Art therapy
• Process/support groups
These services are facilitated by experienced therapists, and will help you return to your home and community with the tools you need to maintain a healthy, sober life.
Family and Alumni Support
The Refuge, a Healing Place offers family week programming and strong alumni support systems
Having the support of friends and loved ones can make all the difference in your recovery efforts. The Refuge offers four-day intensive retreats for families and friends so they can play a meaningful role in your treatment experience.
Long after you’ve completed treatment, you’ll still be a member of the Refuge family. Our alumni services will keep you on track and connected to your recovery community. After discharge, we’ll call you at preset intervals to see how you’re doing, and send cards and correspondence on birthdays. We’ll invite you to participate in our active “secret” Facebook group just for alumni, and join us for two large events each year on campus.
