Drug & Alcohol Abuse Screening Tests

We have provided links to several help sites so that our visitors may take self tests involving drug assessment (DAST-20), and alcohol assessment (MAST) & (CAGE Questionnaire) . The sites that facilitate these tests are not affiliated with nor under the control of The Refuge, and therefore the accuracy of forms cannot be guaranteed. However, these are standard tests used by mental and behavioral health professionals to determine the need for assistance with addiction and alcoholism.

Families: If the problem is currently being discussed with your loved one, and an intervention is not being conducted, it may be a good idea to have them sit down and take these tests privately. Assure them that it has been verified that the site rendering the tests does not collect any information about them and privacy is maintained. Afterwards, if the scoring indicates there may be a problem, please give us a call at (855) 844-9569, and we can discuss options for treatment. Of course, you may call us anytime and for any reason. We’re here to help.
