Dr. Scott Kunce
Medical Director
Dr. Scott Kunce earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his training at the University of Minnesota Psychiatry Residency Program in Minneapolis. He has practiced Addiction Medicine at A&R Solutions in Pittsburgh and the C.A.R.E. Clinic in Philadelphia. Following this, he became a member of the faculty at Florida Atlantic University’s Psychiatry Residency Program, where he engaged in clinical psychiatry, performed ECT, and instructed residents and medical students. Before assuming the role of Medical Director at The Refuge, Dr. Kunce served as the Interim Medical Director at Phoenix House Rehabilitation Group. He holds board certifications in Psychiatry (ABPN) and Addiction Medicine (AOAAM).
